Advances in Microfluidic Synthesis of Solid Catalysts

Heterogeneous catalysis plays a central role in the chemical and energy fields, owing to high tunable activities of solid catalysts that are essential achieve favorable reaction process efficiency, their ease recycle reuse. Numerous research efforts have been focused on synthesis towards obtaining desired structure, property catalytic performance. The emergence development microfluidic reactor technology provide new attractive platform for controllable catalysts, primarily because its superior mixing performance heat/mass transfer efficiency. In this review, recent progress based is summarized. first section deals with strategies including conventional methods batch reactors alternatives (based single- two-phase flow processing). Then, different kinds synthesized microflow discussed, especially regard catalyst type, synthetic process, structure property, Finally, challenges microreactor operation scale-up, as well future perspectives terms more types improvement, combination microreactors, provided.
